- Barcode self-service kiosk: Attendees scan the barcode on their registration email and the system checks them in and prints their badge. Attendees can also type their email address or the barcode number.
- Manual check-in and badge printing using the onsite administration system.

Sessions, Scanners, and Tracking
Scanners, Barcodes, Sessions, Tracking and Tickets
The KMS system provides a very flexible arrangement of easy-to-use scanners, barcodes, sessions and tickets to track attendance, or to control access to certain activities. Print barcodes on attendee badges, and simply scan the barcodes on attendee badges using our hand-held scanners at the point of entry, and optionally on exit. Use sessions and tickets to define the purpose of the scan, tracking only or controlling access.
A session defines any activity or function to which entry and/or exit is tracked, or which requires controlled access. Sessions are often used to refer to specific activities for educational, financial, medical and other conferences and events, but they can define any function, such as meals, offsite activities, paid activities, etc.
Session Tracking, often used for educational, financial, medical, and other conferences, is easily accomplished by simply defining the sessions to track, and then scanning attendees as they enter. To track attendance duration, scan attendees again as they exit.
Tickets are used to control entry to sessions for some reason, which might be educational sessions or offsite activities, such as tours, or paid functions such as meals or golf outings. When attached to a session, a ticket limits which barcodes are allowed entry to the session.
Post-event, the KMS system provides detailed per-session attendance reports.
